Story of the Winged Dolphin by Sue Norman The story of the Winged Dolphin was channelled on the morning of Saturday 26th September 2006, through a form of lucid dreaming such as I’d never experienced before. It came ‘out of the blue’ just as I woke and began breathing. A sense of serenity held me as the vision appeared with crystal clarity and the voice so distinct that I felt as if I’d fallen into a real life dreaming. I was asked to paint what I had received and the title was simply to be ‘Birthing’. The channel was delivered by an ‘Original’ Elder known to me as Ngurunderi. This is the same spirit who reached down and saved me from drowning in the Murray River when I was three. His hand was all I remembered until I became aware of his guiding voice ten years ago. Ngurunderi is responsible for the formation of the Murray River and many land formations in the coastal regions of South Australia. For many years I’ve been guided by Aboriginal Spirit Elders to visit and breathe and play with certain areas of Southern Australia. These included: the Flinders Ranges, Murray River, Coorong, Kangaroo Island and the Fleurieu Peninsular. I’ve also been guided to The Grampians in Victoria as well as Kings Canyon and Uluru in the Northern Territory. The painting, I was told by Ngurunderi, depicts Australia burning and clearing in preparation for the new energy and new ways. The 7 snakes, each of a separate colour of the rainbow or chakra, carry the energy from all over the continent to be transformed at the Centre. The white circles represent Australia’s energy centres or chakras and the energies spiralling within had to be in the feminine direction to bring back the balance. The snakes make their way to Uluru,’ The Heart’. Uluru is depicted in the purple shades which are the colours the great rock turns when it’s raining. When the energies come back together and meld at Uluru, the rain awakens the Rainbow Serpent. The Rainbow Serpent is an ancient and powerful Aboriginal dreaming. It’s the symbol of the creative and destructive power of nature. It’s the protector of the land, it’s people and the source of all life. At the time of creation it was the serpent’s journey over and under Australia, which brought shape and form to the land. The Rainbow Serpent then came to Central Australia where it ceased to create any more land forms. From it’s inside, spirit people emerged and moved all over the country to create many varied lifestyles and dreamings. In the painting, the awakened Rainbow Serpent journeys down towards the southern regions and into the Adelaide Hills. The Adelaide Hills were created upon a bed of pure quartz crystals. As the Rainbow Serpent passes through the crystalline structures, it transmutes and evolves into the new energy depicted by the Winged Dolphin flying out on the diamond energy. It’s Ngurunderi’s portrait and hands that are merging with the oceans. He represents all the Originals who are handing Australia to us so we may take it into the new. The swirling waters around Australia were painted with acrylics blended with the waters from Lake Tahoe. These are waters of efficiency, the new crystalline way of evolving. There are 16 smaller dolphins swimming, moving energy around Australia. They represent the 16 points of the Standard. The 4 larger dolphins swimming with the winged dolphin, represent the 4 categories of the Standards. There are 33 Diamonds connected to the feminine energy of Quan Yin. The painting itself, hangs in the diamond shape to represent the Diamond energy. I wasn’t aware of these meanings nor how many dolphins or diamonds I’d painted until each section of the painting was completed. It took almost 2 months to accomplish because each step led to a lot of breathing and many energy changes within and around. When Ngurunderi’s image was completed, his energy came into the painting. He smiled and channelled that night for us all. It was a beautiful merging of shared energy unlike I’d felt before. He spoke of Understanding and honouring the Laws of the land so they may balance. He told us of the animals, fishes, insects and birds that would leave to make way for many other new species. He said, unlike the animals, the humans no longer had to leave this place to transform. Embracing our multi-culturalism was also mentioned as an important part of our evolution process. The many being the one. Most moving was Ngurunderi’s information that some of the Originals that were holding the energy of Australia since it’s birth, had incarnated into this lifetime to be the ones to help release and transform that old energy into the new. In a sense, we’re handing it over to ourselves. It was through this dreaming that we realised it was finally time to create the Being and learning Centre that had been such a core passion for all of us. We, the Standards of the Winged Dolphin Centre, have studied, breathed and refined ourselves and our modalities for years, lifetimes, to be the Teachers of the New Energy, the New Ways and the New Standards for all those who seek their truth. And so it is.
